Photographs are more than just printed images to me but rather precious memories that will last a lifetime. I have an editorial style that is natural and whimsical and I love to capture soft colourful images. I do not like to be intrusive, I prefer to wait and capture your true smile and inner beauty.
I have been passionate about photography since I was a teenager. I studied photography as a GCSE and learnt all about how to use film and how to develop my photographs in the darkroom. I then decided to build my own darkroom as I loved the art form. The magic of watching my photos emerging in the developer tray really fascinated me. From then on I knew that photography was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I went on to study photography further at college and did a National Diploma and then achieved a First Class Honours Degree in Photography. Since graduating I have achieved awards such as a finalist in the AOP Open competition in London and achieving Bronze and Silver awards through the SWPP.
Whilst studying photography at college I met my wonderful husband Andy, we had always dreamt of having our own business together one day. Well here we are living our dream 7 years on after graduating from University in 2008 and feel privileged to be able to do this as a full-time business. I have always loved photographing people, making them look and feel amazing and bringing out their inner beauty.
I love photographing bumps, newborns, babies, children, families, fashion makeovers and weddings. Being there to capture all these precious moments of your life makes me feel so fortunate and proud about what I do.
